Since its inception, AC Technology Corporation has had one mission- supporting our customers' applications by designing and building AC variable speed drives that give the greatest possible value. Today, AC Tech is the established leader in furnishing drives which satisfy the needs of industrial facilities, Original Equipment Manufacturers and commercial HVAC installations. Their goal when developing new drive products is to increase useability while reducing cost. Ac Tech has pioneered developments such as 575 VAC models, totally enclosed NEMA 4 drives, plain English programming, and the use of intelligent power modules.

Ac Tech takes total ownership of the design and manufacture of the drives that carry its name. The MCH Series drives are manufactured using state-of-the-art surface mount technology. Multiple product quality inspections and tests assure that the drive you receive will work out of the box and for years to come. What this means to you is consistent, high quality products at a surprisingly low cost.

Ac Technology's products consist of the most comprehensive line of VFD's in the world. The present product line offers the widest variety of voltages and enclosures within its fractional through 250 horsepower (18kW) range. Drives are available with input voltages of 120V, 208, 230, 380, 460, and 575 VAC at 50/60 Hertz. Enclosure choices include open chassis, IP20, NEMA 1 (IP21), NEMA 12 (IP52), NEMA 4 (IP65), and stainless steel NEMA 4X.

Late in 1999, ownership of AC Tech was acquired by Lenze Gmbh of Hamlin, Germany. Founded in 1947, Lenze is a major force in global automation products from clutch/brakes to high performance servo drives. Through the partnership of their companies' engineering strengths, state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and strategically focused sales and marketing organizations, they are positioned to be an increasingly dominant global manufacturer of AC drives.
