Browning ball bearings are segmented into three series ranging from intermediate duty for lightly loaded applications to medium duty for heavier loads. 100 = intermediate duty 200 = normal duty 300 = medium duty Browning offers three types of shaft locking devices: -Set screw -BOA concentric: All new Browning 360 degree grip -Eccentric Browning ball bearings are offered with many housings: -Cast iron -Nickel plated cast iron -Ductile iron -Rubber grommeted -Stamped steel VER insert bearings have a cylindrical outside diameter with a snap ring for easy installation and positive lubrication. Interchanges with Fafnir and MB ER style bearings Air Handling AH Ball bearings are specifically manufactured to air handling design specifications including special AH housing fit and for lower operating noise levels. Air handling AH ball bearings can be specified by attaching an AH suffix to the end of any part description. Example: VPS-216 AH Nickel plated NK housings are offered for corrosion resistance and can be specified by attaching an NK suffix to the end of any part description. Example: VPS-216 NK Bushings: Split taper, Q-D and taper bore designs... the broadest range of bushing systems from a single source! Depending on your drive requirements, select from any of these bushing systems, to obtain the most effective combination of components, or choose your own preferred bushing type. Browning Split Taper bushings: -Keyed to both shaft and hub. External key provides positive drive with no torque on the capscrews. -Highest torque carrying capacity -Double split barrel assure true concentricity- grips the shaft with positive clamp fit. -Standard Sizes- 3/8" - 10" bore sizes -Metric Sizes- 10mm - 95mm bore sizes -Spline bore- 5/8" = 1 3/8", 6B & 10B, 10 & 21 involute. Browning Q-D Bushings -standard sizes- 1/2" -  7" bore range -Metric sizes- 24mm - 100mm bore sizes -For use with Browning sheaves, sprockets, and pulleys; fully interchangeable with competitive Q-D bushings. Browning Taper Bore Bushings: -Standard sizes- 1/2" - 10" bore range -For use with Browning sprockets. Synchronouse Belt Drives: Combining the positive timing action of gears with the flexibility, speed, and low noise level of belts. Browning now offers two expanded and enhanced synchronous belt drive lines to add to the most extensive belt drive line available anywhere. These lines- which serve applications up to 600 HP- include the HOT High performance timing drive line and many additional sizes of the proven browning gearbelt drive line. Added selections include double gearbelts with furnish a variety of design solutions for changing shaft rotations. Synchronous belt drives eliminate the problems of slippage, belt stretch, lubrication and metal-to-metal contact; they provide superior performance because power is transmitted by positive engagement of belth teeth rather than by friction as in conventional belt drives. HPT drives offer a wide range of HP and spees, from very low speeds- 10 RPM or less- to high speeds well over 5,000 RPM and horsepower ratings from fractional to more than 200 HP.
